Things I believe every woman should own (and know how to use):

A standard (flathead) screwdriver. A Phillips head screwdriver. A Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, and a Kitchenaid mixer.

Quicken (or Microsoft Money). The Pride and Prejudice miniseries on DVD. Sunscreen of at least SPF 30. A cordless, rechargeable drill, and a Southern Living cookbook.

Jumper cables. Alarm clock. Control top pantyhose.

Black pants, white blouse, and the ability to accessorize.

Dictionary. Sports bra. Tall black boots.

Vitamins E, C and Calcium.

A membership to AAA.

At least one movie staring Audrey Hepburn.

A Crate and Barrel catalog.

A 401(k) and an IRA and the willpower to use them.
