No, I'm not missing
If I'm gone a lot this week, don't worry. Please don't contact the FBI's missing persons unit to track me down (unless, of course, the guys from Without A Trace will be tasked with finding me--in that case, call away.)
Also, please don't think I've given up writing in order to pursue my lifelong dream of being a color-namer for paint companies like Sherwin-Williams.
And don't be concerned that I've taken my Dennis Lehane obsession to such a level that I've actually gone to Boston to stalk him (why would I do that when I know he's going to be in Tulsa in September?)
And no, I haven't gone to track down the Miss Universe people and ask WHY they let Santino be a judge, because doing so pretty much guaranteed that the chick in the hoochie-mamma dress was going to win.
And even though watching the Miss Universe Pageant did make me want to track down my old friend, Eduardo, that doesn't mean I've hopped a plane for Paraguay (but I did seriously think about it.)
No, none of these things are true. I'm not even going to be in Atlanta at the RWA convention with all the other cool kids.
Instead, I'm going to be writing by day and babysitting by night since my sister is going to be in the hospital having baby #2 and baby #1--despite being exceptionally intelligent--isn't quite up to staying by herself since she still needs help getting in and out of her crib and all.
So that's where I'll be--providing the heavy lifting.

I just read 'I'd tell you i love you but then i'd have to kill you'...it was great. A picture perfect book, and just what i had in mind when looking for an interesting read.
I was just a-wondering if there was going to be a sequel....?

I've always wanted to name paint. Not as a career, but it's a good waste of time on boring Saturdays if you have Microsoft paint and a dictionary of really cool adjectives.

Ooh Ally don't hop a plane to Paraguay - I was so bummed that Miss Paraguay made the top 5 in the Miss Uni pageant.
Not to start a war with them or anything. I just wasn't feeling their pageant representative.
I swear this is the first time I've even watched the thing. And why did I? Because I'm a total Project Runway junkie and had to see how the dress Miss USA chose would loook on her. Loved the top, hated the ruffled bottom.
Okay enough. I've revealed way too much about myself obsessing over this.
If the Without a Trace crew shows up on your doorstep, please tell them they can come visit me at any time.
