Today's question: Buffy or Veronica?
As I've said here many, many times before: I am a farm girl.
And when you're a farm girl you learn early that snow isn't something to play in--it's something that makes chores harder. Snow doesn't just get school canceled--it also makes barns collapse and if it's cold enough, cows fall through ice on ponds. Farm girls don't pray for snow days; we don't build snowmen; and we never, ever wish for a white Christmas.
Well, it snowed yesterday. I've taken pictures and will post them in a day or two, but needless to say it's a lot of snow. A lot. A LOT. And, well, I've got mixed feelings about it.
The farm girl in me is now doing battle with the rest of me because A) I have a huge deadline and the whole "snowed in" concept is really just a sign from God that I'd better get busy.
And B) we've been so incredibly dry that there is no pasture left, so all the ranchers are feeding hay anyway, and if they had to choose between feeding hay and it staying dry and feeding hay and getting some pond water out of the deal, then even farm girls are probably glad to see any kind of moisture.
So now, for the first time in my life, I'm saying let it snow!
Okay, back to work (I mean, God did send a blizzard, who am I to waste this precious time?), but I'll leave you with the QUESTION OF THE DAY:
WHO WOULD MAKE A BETTER GALLAGHER GIRL, VERONICA MARS OR BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER?

Okay...I hate to admit this, but I didn't watch Buffy that much when it was on. I saw the movie, but never got into the TV show.
But believe it or not, my husband is a huge Buffy fan. So I've slowly been catching up now in reruns, and he's filling in the holes in the plot for me.
With that said, I'm still voting for Veronica Mars as the better Gallagher Girl. Not just because I've seen every Veronica Mars episode, and still have a ton more Buffy to see.
But from what I know now Buffy's more hands on, where as Veronica's more brains on the situation (she is a PI after all, while Buffy's a slayer).
While I think a Gallagher Girl would do both if necessary. She'd always plan first!
Although...Veronica Mars hasn't been using her brain very much lately. As seen by her actions with the Hearst Rapist.
If you could combine Buffy & Veronica, I think you'd have an ideal Gallagher Girl. :)
Definately veronica Mars. She can notice things that most people don't pay attention to. Buffy is just good at fighting what is right in front of her.

Okay, really tough choice. But, i wuld ahve to say Buffy. Theres just somethign about her that screams gallagher Girl.
Def Veronica. Though Buffy is great at kicking ass Veronica is smarter. And I hate to say it but Buffy needs her club and most of the time Veronica can do it on her own....until she needs some help lol
Veronica. Buffy is a soldier, not a spy. She rarely thinks; just fights. And that works for her, especially with her friends to strategize for her. She's a warrior.
Veronica is sneaky, smart, quick thinking (I"m talking classic Veronica here), good with costumes, disguises, voices, infiltration...
That's a tough one. I choose Veronica Mars. Veronica is mre sneaky and spy like than Buffy.
ok...im goin with Veronica...one becuz i never saw Buffy...sorry...two becuz...well Veronica is awesome.I luv that show.Although i agree with Emily Marshall, I still think veronica would be a kick butt (insert choice word here ;-) Gallagher Girl!Shes just pretty amazing.I also luv the show ;-)

I think you were going to ask which was the better show- Buffy or Veronica- and I was totally going to go with Buffy, as much as I love me some Mars. But if we're talking about which one of them would make a better spy, I'd definitely go with Veronica. I mean, being a teen detective is a lot more similar to being a spy than being a teen monster killer is. Buffy's super strong, and she's smarter than most people think, but like Diana said, she's a warrior, not a spy. When it comes to dealing with the bad guys, it's hard to imagine Buffy being all stealthy, when she could just go in and kick some butt head on. Veronica, on the other hand, is sneaky.
BUFFY. No contest. Veronica and Buffy could have a quip-off, certainly, and compliment each other on their perkiness, their shortness (I can say this because I am shorter than both actresses), and their woes (boys, murders, parental neglect: V-mom and B-dad). However, Buffy Anne Summers is more prepared for combat and would kick butt in P&E.
Veronica Mars..she has that whole attention for detail thing. Buffy not so much allthough i have to admit i only watched a few episodes. Buffy doesn't really seem like a spy to me.
Ok I absolutely love Buffy the Vampire Slayer I have seen every single episode. But she isn't a spy, and Veronica Mars has more of a spy type quality. Buffy just goes where there are demons and vamps and is like 'hey I'm the slayer and I'm gonna kill you guys.' Where Veronica looks a lot more into it. Buffy's got the skills and Veronica's got the brains.

omg i love " I'd tell you i love you, but then i'd have to kill you" i just started to read it yesterday last night at midnight and i'm already on the 3rd chapter( i read it in 30 minutes)
Veronica Mars without a doubt!!! She is awsome.
