Today's question: which purse should I buy?
I'm still hard at work on the sequel, but we got some really good sales news today, so I'm going to celebrate by (finally) ordering a new purse. A nice purse. A purse I can carry and use for many, many years.
I've got it narrowed down to two, and since the whole reason I'm allowing myself to indulge is because readers have been so incredibly good to me, I'm going to allow you--the readers--to choose which one I buy.
Do you like this one ( Wide Crescent with Gusset):
Or this one (Small East/West tote) which, by the way, I'd get in black even though I can't find a picture of it in black.

I'm at your mercy.
Choose wisely. Choose well.

Edited to add: I just found out that the first one doesn't zip. It just snaps. No zip. Thought you should weigh that into your decisions...

The Smaller one it is gorgeous
I like both but the second one is my favorite.
The top one definitely. Very classy and timeless. This is the handbag you deserve.
The second one all the way. It is just gorgeous! The second one is the one you deserve the most.
I like the second one (Small East/West tote)
I like the second one better. Mainly, I think, because of the outside pocket. :)
This is obviously a critical and life changing question--so as a fellow client of Kristin's, I feel it's my duty to put in my two cents (although the bags are clearly worth much more than that).
Plus, as a card-carrying purse-carrier, it's the perfect time to share my many years of research on this all-important topic. In fact, there's a closet on the third floor, which, unbeknownst to my darling husband, contains the happy results of years of purse-decision making.
That said:
Sleek black professional,larger- sized no-nonsense power bag?
Or the full-of-attitude hip and sassy smaller-sized sexy?
I vote: get both.
(And don't necessarily reject the yellow...yellow could be the new black.)
#2 all the way
Personally, I'd say go with the first one, because it looks like it's more likely to be able to carry a hard cover book in it. (and that's one of the big considerations I look into when getting a new purse.)
Both are cute, but I would probably go with the first one (Wide Crescent with Gusset). That purse has classic written all over it. :-)
with out question # 2 its so cute
Well, if it doesn't zip, then definitely not the first one. Isn't that your #1 rule!? So, that being said:
Go with the SECOND one in black like you said.

FIRST ONE!!!
-->its sleek and classy
ahh bu the second one is so fun-HEY why not go for both!!
:)

The first is classy and timeless...but it also is practically identical to a million other bags out there...go with the second one!
Love both but I'd go with the second one.
Bummer on the no-zip thing because I really liked the first one better. But I guess I have to go with the zipper.
I like #2. And thanks for the info about the zipper because that also impacted my decision.
Shopping with someone else's money. I love it!
The second one with the zipper...it is more casual and seems like an everyday bag, the other one looks i bit fancy to me not sure why tho
I choose the second one. The first one's nice too, though.
(Small East/West tote) I like it better because it has more pockets
Def Small East/West Tote
I like the second one, mainly because I love purses with pockets, it's better for storage, and you can always fit a book in there!! That's what I always look for when buying a purse!
The second one.
I was going to say number 1, until you added 'no zip' - that's a huge minus for me. So, number 2 has it....
I like the Small East/West tote it is small yet big enough to hold things..I would so buy it!

Hmm...i love the first one but considering that it doesn't zip i might go with the second one. You don't want your stuff spilling out all over the floor. I guess it all depends on how frequently you trip over stuff.

The second one all the way!! I mean, a zipper is like your number one rule! Have fun shopping!
Go with the small east/west tote. It's cuter plus it zips. How could you go wrong.
Definitely the smaller one .. or maybe even both!
The second one looks small enough not to carry random objects that we women have a tendancy to pick up anywhere we may see them. It also has a small pouch for cell phone possibilities. It has a longer strap, which I remember was a "perfect purse" requirment for you, and it's very cute.
The first one is also very stylish and more sophisticated looking. Another thing you said was that you wanted to keep it for years. I think you should pick one that you wouldn't get tired of it's looks, and ten years down the road it would still be in style.
