Question of the Day: Veronica Mars--FBI agent?
Say it isn't so.
Say it ISN'T so!!!!
Vernica Mars may very well not be back next fall! The CW thinks that the combination of "Pussycat Dolls" and "Reality TV" is more worthy of TV time than VERONICA MARS?!?!?
But evidently there is a chance that they may revamp the show, skipping the rest of Veronica's college days and skipping to her as an FBI agent (or trainee?)
So the question of the day is this:
what do you think of this?

I can't believe they think that Pussycat show is better!! grrr.
If becomming an FBI agent is what it takes to keep her around, I'm all for it. But I'd rather the show continue like it is now.
I can see her as an FBI agent (especially as a trainee). I'm sure they could find a multitude of ways to get her in trouble. :-)
p.s. Love your books, Ally, especially your adult ones!
Well, sadly, it doesn't surprise me that they'd cancel it in favour of Reality TV - I mean, look at what they did to Firefly, and that show was GOOD. But it did break my heart when I heard that I might not be able to watch Veronica next season - first Lamb, now cancelling the show. Do they think we're made of stone? Seriously.
I wouldn't be against watching it if they revamped the show but I would be extremely skeptical at first... as long as the characters stay the same as they are now it wouldn't be too bad, I'd hope.
I love Veronica Mars. They can't cancel it! Seeing her as an FBI agent would be okay, I guess. It would be better than that stupid Pussycat Dolls show. But, I don't know if the revamped show would be as good as the original. This is all very distressing.
I would be furious if they cancel it. Maybe instead of skipping to being an FBI agent they'll just do the next year of college and she'll be doing an internship with the FBI. Shhhhh, don't tell me I'm wrong, I'll be too sad.
I'm not one of those people who was particularly enamoured of Firefly. Even when I got it on DVD. I thought it was pretty decent, but I can see why it was canceled.
I blogged about VM and the suppositions today. I owuld not be against the whole fast-forward thing, becuase I honestly don't think this point in her life is very interesting. I also don't think I'd cry to hard if the show was canceled. VM, I'm beginning to believe, is a closed-end series that they are trying to drag out. The shows on now are like fanfic of VM could have once been.

I WOULD BE SO MAD! I love Veronica Mars it is also the first in my TiVo spot. I'd be very disappointed to see the show go!
okay, this really pisses me off. Veronica Mars as an FBI agent!!!!! Who are they kidding, I honestly cannot see her working there, especially as she has made her view on the police and etc. fairly obvious.
In a way it does not surprise me that they might cancel the show. I love it sooooo much, but it is completely loosing the edge that it once had. First, as much as I HATE Duncun, I still think he should be on it in some way. Also I am tired of them coming up with new people for Veronica to be involved with (Pizz). Lastly, they got rid of some of that external conflict when they killed Sherrif Lamb. I am seriously hoping/praying that this becomes a mystery of theirs, that it turns out Lamb was really kidnapped from the hospital, or something along those lines, but killing him was incontrovertibly stupid!
im not exactly allowed to watch veronica mars, but when my mom's not around, it looks pretty funny! and if u luv it den i luv it. adn i hate dat they'r replacing nicole of the pussycat dolls w/ another wannabee!
p.s. i cant wait 4 "cross my heart"!!!!!!!!!!
