The sisterhood of the traveling MySpace
Hey, it's official, all the cool kids (um...I mean authors) now have MySpace pages. I know because Ann Brashares (Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants) now has one.
And...she's running a contest for the people who get five other people to "friend" her, so if you go friend Ann and send her a message saying that I referred you I'll get a copy of her new book....
Of if YOU get five people to say that YOU referred them, YOU'LL get a copy of her new book (which would be great, too).
Now that I think about it, that's quite the little pyramid scheme she's got going there. But what do I care? Free books!
(And this coming from the girl who had a dream last night that she was at BEA, but it was a lot like a steer show--like with stalls and great big fans blowing on the books. Then I woke up craving corndogs. But that's another story.)
So, anyway, go friend Ann. (By the way, at what point did the word "friend" become a verb?)
Go read great books.
Go study hard for finals.
Go make good decisions.
Go get ready for a great summer.
Go eat corndogs.

My guess is the Big News has something to do with the I'd Tell You I Love You, But then I'd have to kill you movie. But what about it, I have no idea.
PLEASE tell us Hyperion picked up more Gallagher Girls books! I just don't think it's fair to only give us two of something so great. There should be at least three or four. (Of course, then we would all just wish for five or six...or maybe seven...)

Ooohhhhh! I know, I know! But, alas, I cannot say. But for the record, I'm totally "guessing" right about now. :)

My only guess is that maybe, hopefully, it has something to do with a more books deal. Either more Gallagher Girls or something new would be great!
If it has something to do with a Love You Kill You movie, I'n going to faint. That would be so unbelievably cool!

Could you PLEASE hurry up and get out the new Gallagher Girl book? I know you probably have no control over this, but... it nevers hurts to ask. Right??? But any way, I CANT WAIT!!!!!
I just thought you should know, I LOVE I'd tell you i love you but then I'd have to kill you!! it was the most awsomist (new word) book ever!!!!!!
