Hey everyone!
We're going to be updating allycarter.com in a few weeks--adding info for Cross My Heart and misc. other things, so I thought I'd take this opportunity to ask you--the website viewing public--for recommendations of things that we should add, remove, spruce up, or trim down.

Seriously? well, you need more fun stuff for kids. More stuff about Cross my heart, ofcourse. and a contest. Yes, a contest would be good. Somthing to do with getting one of the early copies of Cross my heart. That would be Awsome!

oooooo COOL! Any website feedback....hmmmm....well, I really liked taking that quiz in the fun stuff section of love you, kill you. maybe there could be more stuff like that. (see which charater you're most like, a love you, kill you trivia quiz, you know, that kinda stuff!)and I had SOOOO much fun cracking the cross my heart title in that contest! so, more contests would be AWESOME!!! AS WOULD YOU TELLING US THE BIG NEWS!!! lol, trying to be patient....unsuccessfully, but trying just the same. :)

Quizzes are cool, Ally! So are contests... Kami, you've got good ideas.
so is the site going 2 b down when yall make the changes? I need 2 know these things. WHAT CONTEST?

How about some of those really fun quizzes? Like, "Who are you from Love You Kill You?" And maybe some fun facts about you writing the books-- or even some extra stuff that didn't make the "final cut." Contests would also be really cool, as another poster mentioned, or even, like, "fan letter of the month" or "fan art." Of course, if you have any pictures you've ever drawn of any of your characters, you should totally post those too (like JK Rowling does with her "special content" on her website.) Other ideas include sneak peaks at Cross Your Heart (we wish!), ideas to get young writers started (you could share your favorite writing technique/game, if you have one) or fun facts-- like who you'd ideally have play Cammie if (yes!) Love You Kill You someday gets turned into a movie.
Okay. I'm all out of ideas now. :D I'm sure the new site will be awesome, Ally!

you should totaly find anything like games dealing with the books it would be cool
hmmm...fun stuff!! character stats sheets or "dossier" to make it more spy-like. and possibly a character blog or something. that would be cool. and i agree with the other people about quizzes and contests. how cool would that be?!
I think that, content-wise, you have all of the basics and then some: biography with Q&A/FAQ, book summaries, an updated and candid blog, an easy way to click between the fiction released for kids and the fiction released for adults, and so on. The GG quiz in the fun section is just that - fun - so it couldn't hurt to make another when the second book is released. All in all, I'd say keep doing what you're doing!
REALLY,i agree with them... contests would be cool!!!!
This may be a little too much like JK Rowling's site, but you could have the GG portion of the site have different areas that correspond to the different areas of the school or different classes and the ability to get extra content by cracking codes or performing other spy duties well. The spy theme really lends itself to this.

I agree with most, quizzes, games, stuff like that would be great. Also, maybe something on how you got started, why you decided to be a writter, and stuff like that.
