I can't believe I read the whole thing

Just in case you're wondering, I've been reading. A lot. As in Friday evening I finished HP 4 and faced the decision whether to start book 5 or book 6 or just wait for seven.

And then I read them all.

That's right. I've been reading pretty much non-stop since Friday at five.

I cried and laughed and was terrified and outraged and pretty much the full range of human emotion, so I'm tired now and going to sleep. But I managed to stay spoiler-free, so I'm going to do my part to help others do the same.

I will not post spoilers here now. Maybe later. But in short, let me just say that I'm very, very sad to be leaving Hogwarts. I was truly happy there.

I am soooo excited to be reading the book when I get back home, but I already know how it ends. I hope you liked it!

I felt the way you did! It was like all the books were a roller coaster of emotions.

I finished it yesterday afternoon. It was a good book...kinda scary. I guess it had to be though.

I loved the new book. There were boring bits, and the ending was a little weak, but the experience of following Harry through 7 years of his life. I got the book at a midnight release on Friday, and read it from 10 on Saturday morning and finished all 759 pages by 1:43 Sunday morning. It was the fastest I've ever read in my life lol!

This book was PERFECT. I actually cannot think of anything else it needed or anything that was superfluous. Her best writing by far.

I loved it. I read it in 3 hours, 43 minutes. My personal best, methinks. I also think it was her best yet.

Wasn't it brilliant? I think it the ending that did it for me. I got so emotional during the book though while I was reading. I was hysterical for almost an hour during the last few chapters. Luckily, I can read an cry at the same time.

I'm just sad the series is over. Even though, technically, JK is writing one more book. But it's more like a Harry Potter encyclopedia than a plot driven novel.
