Gallagher Girls: the soundtrack
It's kind of a freaky day here at Ally central (aka, my house) today because...
CROSS MY HEART AND HOPE TO SPY is here!
Like actually here. I have a real, life copy of the real, life book even though it won't be in stores until October 2.
I have a copy. And, as always, that freaks me out because there's really no changing anything now.
Okay, so in order to keep myself from grabbing a red pen, picking that sucker up and convincing myself yet again that it's utter crap I decided to do something productive.
And...since you guys won't be able to buy copies for a few weeks I thought I should probably give you something in return for your general awesomeness, so therefore it's with great honor that I give you...

I'm afraid I'm not as musically cool as most people in the world (I don't even have an iPod), but whether they're cool or not, these are songs that either a) I listened to whenever I wanted to get in the mood to write parts of Cross My Heart or b) really, truly remind me of Cammie or c) just make me dance around like an idiot.
So, thanks you guys for being you! Enjoy! And have a great weekend!

I know almost half of the songs (2-4 plus 8... and maybe 9?)and just wanted to say that I love "Not Pretty Enough." I used to really relate to it, but I'm glad I don't anymore.
Love what I know, will have to find and listen to the others. Thanks for the suggestions. :)
Nice lineup! I like the music of The Veronicas. (I bet you'd enjoy Amy Studt as well.) Not Pretty Enough is sad.
The Veronicas songs and Not pretty enough sound interesting and pretty good...thanks. =)
one song I thought would really fit was back in black by AC/DC for the part when Macy McHenry first gets out of the car in the driveway of the school. she is described as wearing a miniskirt and combats so why not? some other songs that may fit in the film somewhere could be "My Girl" (the tempations) and "So Happy Together" (the turtles). maybe "Both Sides Now" (Clannad) "It Must Be Love" (Don Williams) or "All Shook Up" (Elvis Presley). My family and I are crazy for music and I have so many songs that could fit. Just before Cammie and Josh kiss, they should play "Kiss Me" (sixpence none the richer). Ok the last song on my list, after everything kind of starts to fall apart between cammie and her friends they should play "Lean on Me" (Bill Withers). Music is my passion so that's why I write so much. But maybe you could still get some ideas. See ya Allie! Can't wait for Cross My Heart!
Wow - that's awesome. It would totally freak me out too...but prolly in a good way.
As always, you make me laugh - "Okay, so in order to keep myself from grabbing a red pen, picking that sucker up and convincing myself yet again that it's utter crap I decided to do something productive."
Haha.
Utter crap? Your book? As if. Can't wait to read it!
I feel out of it, because I've never heard any of those songs. I'll be sure to check them, out, though. I'm always open to new music. :)
Hee hee. I have "Momentary" on my IMix, too.... wonder why?
honestly by cartel. love it!
