Day 6...and counting
A few weeks ago my friend Jennifer Lynn Barnes did a really cool thing to count down to the launch of her newest book, Platinum.
It was a sort of 12-days-of-Christmas thing.
And I am now going to steal it.
So without further ado:
1. thanks to all of your very well-thought out and beautifully articulated arguments in regard to yesterday's post, I called my favorite bakery in Tulsa this morning and ordered two dozen white cupcakes, one dozen chocolate cupcakes, and three dozen cookies in assorted flavors.
2. Just because it bears repeating: THREE DOZEN CUPCAKES and THREE DOZEN COOKIES, people!
3. Tonight is the debut of LIFE on NBC. Life stars Damian Lewis who played Major Winters on the BAND OF BROTHERS miniseries. Have I mentioned lately how much I loooooved the BAND OF BROTHERS miniseries?
4. Dancing with the Stars is perhaps the best show ever for walking on the treadmill.
5. So far I've heard from a lot of friends and relatives who are planning on attending the launch party at the Barnes and Noble on 41st in Tulsa, OK next Tuesday (Oct. 2) night at 7:00. And, by the way, you guys know that you're invited, right? I mean, could I conceivably have a party without you? Uh? Don't think so.
6. Oh yeah...it's just SIX days until CROSS MY HEART AND HOPE TO SPY comes out!!!!!!!!!
So that's day 6.
What about you guys? What's making YOU giddy these days?

The cute boy that smiled at me in the grocery store yesterday?? :) And of course waiting to recieve my copy of Cross My Heart and Hope to Spy for my birthday, which just so happens to be on October 2nd. And my mom promised that she'll take me to the book store after school. How awesome is that???
ummm so guess what ally??? i saw an add for cross my heart and hope to spy in the ALLOY catalog like 2 seconds ago!!!! i was just flipping through, minding my own business, expecting nothing to rock my world out of the blue, and then....BAM! you are so awesome ally. youre made of it! MADE. OF. AWESOME. you rock my world, my world is officially rocked becuase you are in it!!!! genious pure genious ally! i cant wait for your boo- i mean uh... i wont read it unless im forced to...cough cough.
hmmm...let's see...college is pretty-giddymaking at the moment cause i just started...and of course my two fave authors are coming out with new books on the same day *coughoct.2cough* ally you're one of them!! hehe and thinking about possibly banishing procrastinativity to the ends of the earth and getting published before i'm twenty...now THAT makes me giddy...hehe
by the way...in honor of the release of cross my heart, i'm working up something awesome for you!! okay, so it's not that awesome, but it's still pretty cool i guess...lol

Hmm... no cute boys would smile at me in this lifetime... my birthday was Labor Day... I didn't see that catalog (Though I SERIOUSLY want to)... well? I guess it's just Cross my Heart and Hope to Spy that's making me giddy (and hyper). If anyone says "Cross your heart and hope to die?" I might die because I'm sooooo giddy and hyper! My friends reading Love Ya, Kill Ya now and I'm always squeeling questions about which part she's at. Still pushing my parents for those plane tickets *wave and in air like theres invisible plane tickets*

I'm giddy because I get to go to sleep. Loooonnnngggg day, but now it's over, and my bed is so comfy. Plus, it's a queen sized bed (or as one of my friends who's still in the dorms called it "a big kid bed"), and that makes me VERY giddy.
not so giddy, getting braces tightened but i did get an A on my social test!
ummm...the fact that i have to give my auto biographical speech tody in communications...also that i TOTALLY redid my speech last night...

Jennifer, I got my first "Big Girl Bed" last Saturday (I've been sleeping on a trashed twin size for so long) and it's what's making me giddy, too. It's all I can think about at work all day. Soooooo nice to go home and crawl in!
I have been waiting for a month! I reread "I'd Tell You I love you, but than I'd have to kill you", like yeasterday. I have one of the highest grades in Lang. I am trying to write my own book. I am now 15, 'cause my B-day was the 28th, And I asked for gift cards so I could get you terrific book! I can't wait to read it!!
You rock!! ^.-
