Fashion emergency---this just in

This just in, folks. I will not be naked at my upcoming book appearances. Yes. It's true. We have narrowly avoided that terrible, terrible (Weight Watchers is SUCH a scam...and...uh...I guess maybe it might work if you follow the rules) emergency.

I have found and purchased book-cover-coordinating sweaters. Two of them.

So rest easy, America. We dodged a bullet this time.

-Ally (who actually braved the big, scary mall today even though it's been YEARS since she's been anywhere near that mall because it's big. And scary. But not "people will stab you" scary just "you may NEVER find your car again" scary.)

So what about you guys? Any fun back-to-school shopping tales and bargains?

I am SO not a shopping-type girl. I mean, unless the shopping is at Barnes&Noble or Borders. Then I'm all for it and will spend every cent I have.
But no, no great shopping tales. EXCEPT! Except that you should definitely read I WAS A NON-BLONDE CHEERLEADER by Keiran Scott. It's amazing and I finally bought the book. (So it's kind of related to shopping, I guess.)

I'm only the book shopping type as well but I've definetly inheirited a sence of style from my mom but I just don't preffer to use it. My local mall scares me to death except for Barnes&Noble Because mostly retired proffesors go there so I'm kinda in the fellow-bookworm territory there. I was having a first day of school crisis though. No further details needed. I ABSOLUTLY CANNOT WAIT FOR CROSS MY HEART AND HOPE TO SPY!! Unfortuanetly I live nowhere near (citywise, not statewise) Tulsa. *sighs* But I already know which outfit I'm wearing to my local Barnes&Noble on the morning it comes out.

Yay for finding outfits! I have no exciting shopping stories to share, BUT my car was finally delivered to CT today (I had to ship it), so now, if I *wanted* to go to the mall, I could...

So happy that you received your sweaters in time! I'm sure that everyone who will be present at the book signing are happy about that, too. Naked book signings...
I don't think that will ever catch on for some odd reason. I haven't made any major purchases for school since about the 9th grade. Once you get past a certain age shopping becomes a traumatic experience.

I totally agree with Jordyn. My friends do not understand why I prefer books to Abercrombie & Fitch.
Still have to find that absolutely perfect book, but Simon Pulse Romantic Comedies are way cute.
Books and friends are what make school fun (and bearable). :)

OMG!!! I totally got a CUTE polka dotted green sweater at JC Penny's! It is not one of those popular stores where you have to spend 50 dollars just to get an undershirt. I mean, it is a cool store, but I don't want to spend taht much money on something that I won't wear that much!
