Secrets, emails, and laptop disasters
Many, many thanks to everyone who has written in the last few days to tell me that you enjoyed CROSS MY HEART AND HOPE TO SPY or to congratulate me on making the NY Times list or to ask if/when I will have another book out.
Seriously. THANK YOU!
And I have every intention of replying to each and every one of you in the very near future...but not today. Because...
1. the laptop crash has cause all kinds of havoc because first I didn't have a laptop and then I bought a laptop but then I had to take it back and then I had to order another laptop and then it came but it's running Vista and all the software that I have doesn't run Vista so I'm going to have to deal with getting Vista-compatible email software that's good for logging and chronicling my email correspondence (which is ESSENTIAL because otherwise I always end up answering the same emails multiple times).
So see. I'm dealing with a lot of issues just on the laptop front alone.
And then there's reason #2: I can't say anything. Not yet. About some VERY BIG things, and I know if I started answering emails I'd start letting little things slip out and that wouldn't be very professional of me.
So there. I've got secrets. And emails. And laptops. Oh my.
But hopefully in the VERY NEAR future all of those things won't be problems anymore.

It sucks about your laptop. My laptop is nice and trusty and loves me for the most part. I hate Vista, for the record. I totally understand about the emails though. I hate not being with a good computer/email.
Do the super top secret things have anything to do with Project K, which you only mentioned once, but I have a photographic memory (very Gallagher Girl of me) so I remember you said it about a month ago and it's killing me!! Worse than Chinese Water Torture...
not only project k, but does it have anything to do with the dvd you were watching for book research
I did a report on Id tell you i love you but then id have to kill you and i just finished Cross my heart hope to spy and it was great!
can you at least tell us when you think the 3rd book will be out?!?
hmmm, well we'll just just have to accept that spies have secrets, and that they can't tell all of them. so sad...by the way, you know that whole "curiosity killed the cat," thing? yeah, let's just say i'm very close to getting myself electricuted with how much i want to know about the OTHER big news!! lol

omg!!i love your Gallagher Girl books!my friends and i ALL LOVE THEM!!i especially love Zack's character in cross my heart...!!!keep up the AWESOME writing and i hope there will be a 3rd book, and a 4, and a 5, and a 6...(etc.)

Oh my goodness I loved Cross my Heart. You had nothing to worry about. It was great. I wanted to cry at the end, but mostly becuase I just didn't want to see it end. I hope there is a 3rd book. I can't wait till it's the right time to reveal your secrets. I am dying for a third book Ally!!

hey! I was wondering when is the movie, "I'd tell you I love you, but then I'd have to kill you" is coming out? I totally can't wait!!!! Oh, the Borders Bookstore that is close to my house doesn't have "Cross my heart and hope to Spy" and i'm getting messirable!!! HELP. I need that book....
