Hi everyone!
I SO want to go into details, thanking everyone who has been so awesome in the past few days (like Anna who sent me FLOWERS!!! and CANDY!!! and Ren who came to the signing and took pictures and is going to write an article/review about the book, and Amanda for being a Super Librarian, and Trisha and Kelsey and everyone else for braving the rain last night!)
Oh, and Jeff and every at BN for setting the whole thing up to begin with!
And all of my friends and family who came...
And Merritts bakery for making the yummiest cupcakes EVER!
And let's not forget all of you who have already bought the book!!!!
ESPECIALLY those of you who have already READ the book and are already writing, asking about book 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(note to self: don't tell anyone that book 3 is your favorite plot yet--that might freak them out too much)
But I'm tired, gang. And I've got a lot of stuff left this week...
Like the Kansas Book Festival, this Friday, October 5, in Wichita.
And the Midwest Booksellers Association Trade Show in Minneapolis on Sunday...
So I won't go into details. Not right now.
But I will say this:

I wish Canada would just be cool and release the book already! I was at the store ont he 2nd only to be told that I was too early:( I can't wait another 13 days! Although the audiobook is already out here, maybe I should just get that...

yeah, i've got 11 more days until the book is out, i want to read it so bad, the tapes are sounding pretty good but i love to actually be the one to read it, man please Chapters hurry up and sell the book, Ally do u think u will ever do signings in Canada??
Ally, since you are a writing celeb, will you do a huge fan a favor and come to Lemoore, CA! I am the only one in this town who loves your books and I want my friends to read LYKY and CMH and love your writing too! My mom is getting annoyed at me because everyday I nag her about if she got the book for me. I can't wait any longer for if I do, I shall explode! Ally, come to Lemoore! We are a small town but we have had out share of celebs here (Lorenzo Neal, Eddie George--they were at or home game last week)! Ally come to Lemoore! Go LHS Tigers!

your favorite plot EVER?! dang...and i thought my cheeks were hurting from smiling the entire time i read CMH!! and too late....already freaked!! lol it's gonna be so bomb!! i just wish books didn't take so long to write...*sigh* ah well, tis the life of the writer, and though it takes a while, the process must be truly fulfilling...hehe

omg yr book was awesome i loved it and as soon as i got it i couldnt stop reading it it was unbelievable i think it was better than id tell you iluve you but then id have to kill you and i read the book in lke 3 hours it was amazingggggggg

I read Cross My Heart today in one sitting, and I really liked it! I can't wait for the next one :)
I got the book the day it came out and they hadn't even unpacked the boxes yet. I just finished reading it yesterday and TOTALLY loved it. I really loved it! And yes, I can't wait to read the third!!! :)

I loved CMH to death. I think I posted yesterday how much I loved it in one of the other threads, but I decided to come here too.
If you're going to Minneapolis, that's not THAT far from Milwaukee (or even better, Brookfield, which is a suburb of Milwaukee)... okay, so it's 5 hours with no traffic, but at least the states are next to each other. (It's gotta count for something, right?)
I can't wait for Book 3... Ahhhhh!
So good work and I'm going to shut up, because I always write hugely long posts and I should really stop and start doing my homework.

I loved Cross My Heart and Hope to Spy so much! I Can't wait for the sequel--you are making a sequel rigth?! Cuz frankly, I must say...I'll cry if you don't...yeah a little too much drama >.<
Anyway, you did an amazing job with CMH. I was hooked, couldn't put it down for my life! And to be totally honest I liked this one more than LYKY (which is hard to believe cause I liked that one very, very much!) Keep up the great job. I love you work!

Ohmygourd!!!!!! I got the boook yesterday and finished it in my 6th hour class today!!!! I did absolutely NOTHING in class today-- I was too busy reading!!! I hbsolutely loved it, start to finish. You are awesome! We here in New Castle LOVE you!!! You should come visit Indiana sometime, you'd SO have a following!! Well, I'm off to write my favorite GG quotes!!! much love!!

Oh My God CMH was the best and i thought that the frist book was good no this book was the bomb! i dont want to spoil for no one so ill hurry up! i finidhed reading the story around 3am my mom was like you are crazy, but it was so good i couldnt put the book down! i cant wait fo the next book I hope it doesnt take a long time to write!!!

I finished the book and was so upset that it was over. Speaking of the book, I WANT THE 3RD ONE!! Thanks for telling us that it was good. lol. I should start counting the days... Thanks so much though for a great 2nd book.
OMG! Ally your an amazing writer! I love CMH so much! its ausome! in fact, I couldnt wait for the second book to come out, so I ordered it 3 months ahead of time!lol! In the mean time I had to read the frist one over and over, but you know what? I still am not sick of it. I cant wait for number 3! My friends at school are always like,"your reading that again?!" lol. so yeah, your a pretty good writer, and I wish you all of the best of luck, and.....thinking....(it might come in handy)lol.
OMG! I loved the book! Are you going to do a 3rd book because i think you should. strike that i think you have to. There has to be more to the story. Are they really going to make I'd Tell You I'd Love You But Then I'd Have to Kill You into a movie? I would totally watch and i think a lot of other people would too. Get going on the next book as soon as you can. Maybe they will make Cross My Heart and Hope to Spy into a movie too. I hope so!

I think you should find out if the girl on the cover of the Gallagher Girls books can act and if she can you should use her in the movie.
