i have a question for you, are you editing at all during this? or are you just writing, plowing through?
i'm guessing you had an outline, are you sticking to it? or just writing whatever comes out?

I stopped in the second week, at like 6,000. I didn't know how else to continue.
I'm thinking that I'm probably more of a reader than a writer.

I've been moving a little slow on my second book- hit 8,000 words a week ago and I've spent the past days plotting. I'm feeling lethargic while I wait for Katie Kotchman to give me the latest round of pre-pub edits on my first book.

How long will it take to publish? So if you finish by next year and it takes a year to publish...... that's going to be about 2 years before it's done...... :( :( :(

I've been doing good for me, but not for the 50,000 word goal. I've written about 23 pages (by hand) which, considering how little writing I've done recently, is very good.
Congratulations on your progress. I wish I could write that much in under a month (or at all. I tend to get either distracted, or bored of my stories, before they get very far.)

mine's coming. haha i've got just a little less than you do at the moment. it's difficult to push myself to keep plugging away. haha but i'm gonna do it!! mark my words!! lol

I only just started mine yesterday, so I am only at 7,500 words. I have a whole outline and all. I think I will easily reach my goal. I said that last year though. Last year, I got stuck on that final 10,000 and couldn't figure out what else to write. I finally did it though.
