Ellen Page, a chameleon?
I'm SOOOOO going to regret blogging about this!
Seriously. I am.
I can already tell because I've started this post about a dozen times. And then stopped. And yet here I am...starting it again.
So before I go on, please let me remind everyone that I am not involved in the movie process for the I'D TELL YOU I LOVE YOU BUT THEN I'D HAVE TO KILL YOU movie.
I repeat: I am not involved in the movie process.
I don't get to pick the story elements.
I don't get to (or have to, depending on how you look at it) write the script.
I don't have any say in what actors or actresses are cast.
I can't pass along your names or headshots or email addresses to the people who are in charge of casting.
I don't have any information on where they will be having open casting calls.
I probably will not be getting any information on when they will be having open casting calls.
Are you guys seeing a trend here?
But still...it's fun to dream and fantasize, right?
And ever since I saw the first preview for Juno I can't help thinking...
Oh. My. Gosh. THAT's CAMMIE!!!!

And I just can't stop thinking she'd make the perfect chameleon.

hmm...I haven't really put any thought in who would play Cammie.
Ellen Page looks pretty cool to play her. She's not really how I pictured Cammie, tho. Maybe resemblence would be greater in the uniform. :P
This is really making me want to see the movie. And read the 3rd book. But unfortunately neither are out yet :( So sad.
hmm, not how I pictured Cammie at all. I picture a blond...maybe that has something to do with the cover of the books :)~
omg - I almost forgot.
The Wikipedia article about Ally Carter says this..."Carter was chosen as her surname because her agent and editor wanted her books to be shelved near bestselling chick lit author Jennifer Crusie's."

thats not how i pictured her at all, i always pictured her like the cover of the first book. that girl should be like macey. but thats what i think. hey any ideas on the title of the book??

You know what? She looks so similiar to the way I picture Cammie that it's scary! I'm not just saying this- it's true! I've got the chills now!
Oh, you know how in Cross My Heart Tina asks Zach if he was with Cammie during the Code Black and he says no?(well, duh you know, your the author!) Technically, he's not lying. He wasn't with Cammie. He was with Tiffany! Yeah, I just reread it today and say that little loophole. Cammie is sooo mad at Zach for lying, when he's just using the legend!

idk, whenever i pictured cammie, her cheeks weren't as round, and her hair was lighter, but i think she would do good. i really need to watch x-men...

Strange, I don't picture many of the books characters as blonde.
It's getting really annoying since my sister read this. Just becasue she was in 1 commercial, she believes she will be in the movie. SHE HASN'T EVEN READ THE BOOK! Ugh, she checks weekly to see if tryouts are coming. It is SO annoying.
i think that they should get the model from the front of the book, or someone who looks like her, because i think a lot of girls probably picture her like that now because of the girl on the front cover.
I agree that she would be a great Bex. I myself was watching this show called Heartland who plays the lead Amy Fleming and the way she acts and looks is all Cammie to me. Here is the shows website and u can see a episode and what she looks like!

like some who already posted, i think she would make a great Macey. She's too glamorous to be a Cammie. Also, Cammie should be more peteit and have dirty blonde hair, like the girl on the cover. Do you have any idea who that girl is(like did you have a say about the tilte artwork/picture?), or anything? THanks :)

Wow. Yes, she would be fantastic in any role, but I suspect given her recent nomination, that she would be unlikely to star in a teen movie. Of course, she might enjoy your books, and agree to do it...
I suspect that when casting LYKY, the Producers will cast talented unknowns for the students and a few talented "names" for the adult roles. (see: Harry Potter, Spy High, Zoom's Academy, Princess Diaries) The adult actors will gain some interest from the general public, provide professional press interviews, and assist the younger actors.
And so long as the script is logical, I'll watch it!
I never thought about what Cammie looks like, so yeah I think Ellen would be great. I always pictured Kat Dennings as Macey and Erica Hubbard as Bex, I just wonder if she can do a british accent...lol

Oh, and, I know it might be kinda like typecasting since she was in Spy Kids, but how about Carla Gugino as Cammie's mom?
I'm not sure about Ellen Page. I've always thought Cammie would be... blond and sweet. I've never really pictured as Ellen Page like that... I think she would make a better Macey.
I was just reading the books (again!) and thought about how Michael Vartan would be a great Mr. Solomon. It totally works!

I always thought as Cammie with light brown hair, a little longer than Ellen's, and no bangs. Kind of like the cover I guess. I pictured her lips a little rosier. I don't know how tall Ellen is, but I pictured Cammie medium hieght and slim. Ellen make a great Macey though if she wore blue colored contacts.

i dont really think ellen page should play her. i always pictured Cammie as a dirty blonde who is a pit prettier. but i still like ellen and she would be good to.

Well, if Ally says Ellen looks like Cammie then I belive her. I mean, she ought to know, right?
And who cares if Ellen's hair is dark in that picture? It's not like an actress can't change her hair for a role--they do that ALL the time.
Plus, Cammie is the CHAMELEON--she blends, you know? And I think Ellen is that kind of pretty. You know, the kind you might not notice at first glance. That's probably pretty important.
hmmm, i kind of agree with arockr. im not sure if that is how i pictured cammie. but it is hard to imagine page being cammie without the uniform. she looks to made up....but i guesss that is cuz of all the the make up and stuff. i always thought she would have longer blond/brown hair cuz of the cover. idk....just a thought!
Well, here's the way I look at it. There are a lot of greaaatt actresses out there that would fit the role of Cammie. However, if they were to have auditions for the movie, I think that a girl not known in the movie world is more likely to be chosen. Why? I don't know. But, I do believe that I would make an amazzing Cammie. Plus, I received my 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. So watch out people! Because I am your next Cameron "Chameleon" Morgan.

Ummmm... I have read Love You Kill You like 5 times and I really dont think Ellen Page looks like a Cammie. I think she would be a great Macy though. I have always pictured Cammie with medium length dirty blond hair... Just like on the Cover!
I totally think that ellen would be macey. Maybe it's just from seeing her in Juno, but i think she plays the sarcastic, know it all type pretty well. I can't wait for it. But i bet i'll still love the books better. <3 GG series!
Not how I pictured Cammie AT ALL. I pictured the girl on the cover, Who is on the cover? I think that she should take some acting lessons and be Cammie in the movie.
