Just in case you're wondering, I've passed 50k and am gearing up for the final act--the big finale--the ending to end all endings.
I will for sure make it by 2008!
And if I get done soon enough I may get to ring in the New Year with my writer buddy Jennifer Lynn Barnes and the Barnes family annual New Year's party!
She has assured me that I don't have to shower and that I can wear stretchy pants. Oh, and they're supposed to have Mexican food.
How am I supposed to say no to that?
So what about you guys? How are you saying goodbye to 2007 and hello to 2008?

Mexican food, stretchy pants, and no showering required...hm...that sounds pretty perfect to me! I am going to spend New Year's Eve with my boyfriend and a bunch of our friends. There will be lots of food and games! I can't wait!
I ring in the new year by watching Dick Clark's new year party thingy on tv, and exactly @ midnight, we blow up a bunch of fireworks. and scare the daylights out of a few neighbors..Bex would be so proud!
I don't know. Its New Years Eve (i think) and I haven't had contact with my friends in ages. Maybe I'll go to the party at the skating rink we hang out at...
I am having a movie marathon with my family, then watching the new year's countdown! We will then bang pots with wooden spoons, and then blowing up fireworks, it will be lots of fun! Oh and finishing my math project :P

hopefully, i'll be spending it with my three best friends at a sleepover that inludes chick flicks and gingerbread houses (haha a little late, though). Also, watching Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year. That is if they're back from skiing!!

Actually, Bex would never set off fireworks just for sake of annoying people. Too many people would notice (which Mr. Solomon would hate). Too many people disrupted (which Madame Dabney would hate).
No need to cause a great deal of noise without a purpose.

I have read both of the Gallagher Girls books at least three times and I got them like 4 days ago! THAT IS HOW MUCH I LOVE IT! Please don't end the series! It is my all time favorite! I cannot wait for the third one! Thank you for being such a brilliant writer! :]]

i slept over my friends house with five other girls. sooo much fun. lots of chaos when we all talk at once, but its the good kind : )
i was watching the dick clark thing or whatever it's called and i saw all those people crowded in the streets and i kept thinking how great that would be to write a spy scene that takes place there. talk about chaos : ) happy new year!
Well I hope you enjoyed your New Year! I had lots of fun! A big group of my friends and me all went camping with our familys! It was awesome! The first think I had to eat in 2008 was rum cake and a glass of sparkling cider! I'm really excited about the first draft being finished! thats sooo awesome!!! again HAPPY NEW YEAR, and I hope you enjoy your new series!
