Where have all the handymen gone? Seriously. I'm asking. Because I was recently talking with my best friend who lives in Denver about how she can't get anyone to work on her house...
And then I talked to my sister who lives in Oklahoma about how no one will work on her house...
And last Tuesday I was expecting two different workmen to come do two different small things around my house, but neither one of them showed up.

It makes me long for Handy Smurf with his little smurffing hat and his smurfy smile and that totally smurfalicious pencil behind his ear....
I would also willingly hire a handywoman--I'm an equal opportunity handyperson employer! But alas, it doesn't look good.
Sigh. Smurfette was the smurffieiest smurf who ever smurffed!

I can relate to that Ally, the upstairs bath in our house was supposed to be fixed by a handyman over a month ago but it's still the same as it was. Hope your house gets fixed soon anyway.

It make we wonder about something; Why do they call people that fix things a handyMAN, why not a handyWOMAN, I know people that still call a female a handyman. I think if neither of them come you should try and give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe they had something bad come up. I mean there should have been something going on if they didn't think to cancel beforehand.

That sucks. My mom is always trying to get people to come and fix the problems our house has but they never show up. It's really annoying.

I know! That always happens. I thought it was only me, but I guess it happens a lot. Either they are really lazy or they don't know how to organize their schedule so they end up double-booking(or triple-booking). So frustrating. And I have to ask: PLEASE PUT MORE DELETED SCENES WITH ZACH!!! =) he is so hot.(but I've never actually seen him. sadly.
i know...handymans are the worse. we had one come last year on christmas eve so we thought he would be really good but then we didnt see him again for 6 months. good luck with your handyman/women issues. i hope you have better luck than me!

I totally agree with you. Handy men are hard to come by now a days. That's why I've tried to learn as much as I possibly can to fix things around the house myself. I now know how to spacle, fix stair handrails, do minor plumbing, and many other odd jobs. I've found that it helps alot to be able to fix certain problems yourself. Good luck Ally!!!

hey i was wondering if you planned on putting, in any of the books because i do understand that you cant give 2 much away, but are you going to tell us all the secrets about Blackthorne and stuff. i always freak out when i finish gd bks (which i do alot; gd bk picking skills lol) and try to contact the author :)
write more than 6 books, write until you die! and let them out more often. like 3 a year. :) please? this is kinda (well very) melodramatic and all but i just love them. and i read books of about 500 pages daily so its difficult for a book to last me. i seriously think i am goig to put my family into bankrupcy with all of this buying of bks. but its just that librarys dont have gd books. ... so, please? :)

Don't worry. We had our water off for about a month in the kitchen because no handymen would come back from their escape to New Zealand. And yes, I mean it when I say escape. He literally ran away in the middle of the job.

i totally know what you are talking about. we are always having handyman trouble. it is hard to find a good one. please post another scene!

OMG! I totally know what you mean! were adding a bathroom downstairs for my grandmother when she moves in with us and the people like never come! When they do come they get a bunch done... but they could have been done by now if they would come every day! and then about three or four years ago when we were redoing are kitchen they were suppossed to take about six or seven weeks.. instead they almost took six months! lol totally know what your talking about :)
