And remember...it was the 80s. EVERYONE looked stupid.
But that doesn't mean Pat Benatar isn't a Gallagher Girl.

ally!!! they filmed part of sisterhood 2 at my friend's house! blake and amber were there and we got to watch filming and meet the girls! it was so fun and so cool!
I'm sooo excited for GG3! I really want to get an idea if it will be coming out this year or not! but anyway...I think that The sisterhood is gonna be a GREAT movie. Are your lips feeling any better?

That song definitely belongs on the soundtrack! i love it. i am soooooo excited for the secong sisterhoood movie. i've been waiting forever for the 2nd movie.
ANOTHER MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!! Omg, yay!!! They finally made another one!! Now I have to put them on my every-growing list of books to read and books to re-read this summer, so I can remember what they did. Have they combined some of the books?? I haven't read them in forever. I'm going to ignore the GG3 info because I still haven't go GG2. *runs and hides*
I love the plot of your books. But there are some parts of CMH that was blurry when I try to imagine whats going on. Like at the end, when everyone takes their final, why do the blackthorne boys have their closets organized like robots. In the book, Cammie says she understands, but its so unclear that I just don't get it.
Also, Cammie is a sophmore. She's 16 years old. Throughout the series she doesn't sound like a 16-year-old at all. She sounds more like 12. Just the tone of her voice sounds too young and innocent to be a 16-year-old's voice today. Girls that age just don't talk like that. Ex: in LYKY, Cammie is like: "I love Bex and Liz. Seriously, I do...." that line is just not realistic to today's typical teen. And thats not the only one.
I love your books, but just some things that can make your book appeal to older audiences would definitely make it a lot more interesting. :)

Thanks for your opinions. Believe it or not, Cammie talks like I talk. And I'm in my 30s. (Seriously. I am.) And since up until now I've only gotten compliments from teens for making characters that sound like them, I don't think I'll change how Cammie talks (although in each book she does get older, so look for subtle changes as the situations she finds herself in become more dire.)
If the books are too young for you that's quite all right. There are tons of amazing YA books aimed at older readers (if you'll notice, the GG books are listed as being for ages 11 and up), so I'd recommend you try some of them.
As for the unanswered questions in CMH...that's why there are future books. I'd like the general plot of each book to stand alone, but to get the FULL story readers will have to read the series as a whole. At the end of CMH Cammie knows that Zach wasn't trying to hurt her school--how neat his room is doesn't have anything to do with that.

Its like at the top of my list tied with yours....of course. My top 3 favorite things about the Benatar video:
#1: The keyboard is on top of an old barrel... totally hard core!
#2: Every time the drummer hits the highhat, there is a cloud of dust that comes off... very dramatic.
#3: Pat's rockin' air guitar skills at the end.

I saw Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants yesterday! can't wait 4 that movie. How about heart of Glass by Blondie? Smile would be good to by Lily Allen but it has a bad word in it so Disney can't really use it. :(

A few things, you can cut some out if they're rambling a little:
1) NG - I actually think the characters talk like normal teens talk (speaking as a *hopefully* normal teen), which i actually prefer. ive seriously read books where characters sound like mini-adults - NOT FUN. seriously, would you like it if cammie said: "And although we are permitted to pursue any career we desire, even the headmistress of the school (consequently my mother) only rolls her eyes when I say that I attend a school of espionage."? my point exactly.
2) Patrick Dempsey as Mr. Solomon? NOOOOOO... he plays the same role in everything - goody-two-shoes hero... goody-two-shoes+Mr. Solomon = trouble...

I'm glad to see so many people who like The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series; I can't wait for the movie to come out August 8th! It seems Tibby has kept her twisted sense of humor in the movies. Pat Benitar is always good. One of my teammates said he did not like Pat on my team trip to state AcDec, so I hit him. Pat is to be appreciated. I completely agree about the soundtrack.
