So I hear the Super Bowl is today.
I don't know who is playing.
I don't know where they are playing.
I don't know when they are playing.
Have I been living under a rock? I think so, maybe.
Or maybe it's all the GREAT books I've been reading since there's nothing to watch on TV.

And the first book in the Gemma Doyle trilogy, A GREAT AND TERRIBLE BEAUTY, by Libba Bray.
I'm also sooooo excited about SWEETHEARTS by Sara Zarr.
And have I told you guys that I came home the other day to find an Advance Reading Copy of HOW TO BE BAD by Sarah Mlynowski, E. Lockhart, and and Lauren Myracle? I can't wait to dig in!
Oh, and while we're on the subject of TV, please let me remind everyone that the BEST show on television is still showing new episodes.

all i know about the super bowl is that its the patriots vs the giants. i dont know anything else about it. i love friday night lights! i cant wait! i also want to read sweatheart, i just read story of a girl and it was great. but not as good as your books!!!

OMN!!!! Thank you sooooo much Ally! I am always running out of things to read. Right now I'm reading Kiki Strike; Inside the Shadow City.... and it's Really good. But I like your spy books better! I do recommend 1 book though. Lady of Milkweed Manor by Julie Klassen. It is a very good book and it was THIS close to making me cry! And I NEVER cry while I'm reading/finishing a book or in movies! I REALLY hope you read it.

The giants r playing the patriots at 3 and the patriots have had a perf season so far and they beat the chargers (sob) even though we beat the colts who won last year. never mind. i like the chargers. i'm going to watch it today, but will probably be playing with my little cousins more, tho i luv the commercials!!!! id rather honestly be reading though, maybe a deleted scene...

omg! I forgot that the super-bowl was today! GO GIANTS!! ELI MANNING IS THE BOMB! i dont know much about football but the super-bowl has been plastered all over the news and the papers, plus my dad keeps talking about it. we are HUGE NY Giants fans and Clemson Tiger fans. and to celebrate the occasion my mom bought my brother and dad NY Giants Jerseys off the internet. they have been wearing them off and on for the past week! LOL!

Right...... the super bowl. I found out about it yesterday only because I was talking to an aunt who lives in phoenix and she mentioned all the increased traffic in the city due to all the tourists coming in for the super bowl. So don't worry - you're not the only one living under a pile of books - all I've been doing lately is hw and reading.
Superbowl?? I'm not musch of a football fan. But i hope the giants win. (probably cause thats the team that i live near) but w/e. Friday night lights? Never heard of it. But the best show on TV in my opinon is DEGRASSI!! It is like an amazing show. Its on channel 133 and on Friday the 8th new shows start!! WHOO!! ha ha.

2. LYKY and CMH by Ally Carter (amazing realistic fiction)
3. Model Spy by Shannon Greenland (almost, almost competes with the GG books).
4. The first couple Alex Rider books (by Anthony Horowitz), before the start to get boring. The titles are Stormbreaker, Point Blank, Skeleton Key, and Eagle Strike... they're really more for people who care more about the missions than the characters, though... you don't really get much chance to sympathize with the protaganists
5.harry potter - it IS amazing...

Personally I have friends that think the Super bowl rocks, but unfortunately I hang out with teenaged girls that do not like to watch a ball being thrown around, but rather the cute guy throwing them -_-'.
But personally I missed (technically missing) the Super bowl, I was too busy reading books that were actually quite interesting, maybe not quite appropriate for the YA section of the local library, but interesting none the least.
Thou Shalt Not Dump the Skater Dude, was something I shouldn't have read all the way through, but nothing completely inappropriate. I was never interested in watching sports. Books are a way better way to pass time.

My brother last night pretty much tried to teach me the entire game of football in time for the Super Bowl today. Honestly, I think its to late for me but my whole family is watching it so I get every other TV and electronic system in the house all to myself for three hours. Yay! Right now I'm reading the Hero and the Crown by Robin McKinley because we have to read a Newberry medal winner. The last thing I read though was Rules of the Road by Joan Bauer which was sweet and the Scarlet Pimpernel which was also very sweet but a tad more boring. I tried to read a Great and Terrible Beauty but after the first 22 pages or so I think I got caught up in another book. Maybe I'll try again...

I know that everyone is telling you about how much they love you so I thought that I would just throw myself into the mix...Yah that sounds weird but you are one of my favorite authors. Obviously the first book was sooo good and I had to buy the second one in hardcover because I couldn't wait...I definitely can't wait for the third book and a SERIES! hahaha omg ive been reading sooo much too. i read what my mother doesnt know and one of those hidious books where the mother dies by sonya sones. they were wonderful of course. then there was reincarnation by suzanne wayne then mediator by Meg Cabot. In case you didn't already know, the Super Bowl was in Glendale, AZ, home to the University of Phoenix stadium. Basically, a gigantic, silver dome-like thingy with a retractable roof and field. Too cool...

really? 'cause i find football kind of boring. i always get bored after watching for 5 minutes and leave the room or i fall asleep. this year was one of the first years that i was not dragged off to a super bowl party where everyone but the 4 year olds were glued to the TV.
sure i like to yell but i'd much rather yell at the judges on Project Runway when they send my fave designer home than at football coaches.

i only know the answer to your first question. ally got the idea for the gg series when her editor or something emailed her and told her to come up with a good idea for a book in like a day.
afterwards, ally was watching alias or something and suddenly she thought that sydney bristow had to have learned all her awesome spy stuff from somewhere. and what if that place was a school girls who were to-be-spies.
and whala! that is how ally carter thought of the gg series.

I always knew who was playing in the super bowl, my locker at school is surrounded by guys. i wasn't rooting for anyone at the start of all the pre-games stuff but then the announcer guys were comparing quarterbacks and they had a picture of Tom Brady and a picture of Eli Manning. i thought that Eli looked hotter than Tom so i wanted the giants to win.

IK! i mean i luv zach and all but hands down i luv josh MORE. if he is not in gg3 i will bawl my eyes out. seriously, i was so upset when he was only in 2 scenes of CMH. but i still luvd gg2...it's just...i wanted more of thy JOSHEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I read the a great and terrible beauty by libbra bray it was one of the best books besides yours obviously another one i was reading was twilight getting ready to read new moon while waiting to read gg3ive read gg1&2 both about 10 times each its so hard trying to wait for even the smallest detail about gg3
