How much do I love DANCING WITH THE STARS?
An embarrassing amount. Seriously embarrassing.
Because 1. it's an awesome treadmill show.
(Treadmill Show. noun. Term coined by Ally and her sister to describe a television series that is both fast-paced and motivating and has a plotline simple enough to follow that one can easily enjoy it while walking on a treadmill.)
And 2. I do love me some dancing. And some minor celebrities.
A few years ago it was my personal goal to be a major enough minor celebrity to be on CELEBRITY POKER SHOWDOWN.
Well...guess what my new goal is?
I mean, it's not that I even want ME to be the writer on DWTS. Sure. It sounds fun in theory. But given the fact that I am the only person in the world who seems to GAIN weight on Weight Watchers, those little outfits aren't looking so appealing.
But I think it would be awesome for SOME author to be on, right?
Seriously. Dancing with Meg Cabot? So amazing. Or Sarah Dessen? Or...let's face it...I would so pay good money to see Dancing with John Green.
Oooh. You know who would be good? Judy Blume!
So come on, Dancing with the Stars selection committee--we are YA writers--our fans can text message better than ANYONE'S fans!

i'm watching dancing with the stars right now too!!! antonio banderas is my favorite, because i've seen him in so many things.
i think you should be on dancing with the stars! so many people would root for you. as for the skimpy little outfits, flaunt what you got and be proud of it ; )

That would be so much fun for authors to be on the show! I really am a huge fan but i don't get around to watching it as much as i wish becasue i'm always so busy but i often get my friends to re-cap it. I'm so excitied for the new line-up though!!!!

Totally agree!! DWTS is awesome! My mom and I just watched it! AND just in case we ever miss it live, we have it set to record on the DVR so we can watch it later and skip the commercials. We had a good time, too. A writer on the show would be sooo cool and would totally get all my votes!

Um... you forgot yourseslf, Stephenie Meyer, and JKR! Okay, just kidding (though I would totally watch it if any of you three were there! LUV all those series! And according to ur blogs you lk Twilight and HP as well!). But honestly, you can probably dance better than me. SO if I become an author and they do that you will NEVER see me on it! I can't even walk down the (flat) hall, let alone dance in high heels! Anyhow, I dont really watch the show, but I have heard of it!
And writers do text the best. AND we're gramatically correct (sometimes. More than others. Drives my friends insane when I do that! :))

any girl who reads and has no life can totally text faster than any other person on the planet. but we do have lives and still can text fast. so how amazing are we. no one will ever know. new things come in life everyday and yet we learn things about ourselves not nearly as much. i think?
OMG I would watch it so much more if you were on it lol. Then I'd actually know somebody. And I would totally vote for you, I'm an awesome texter lol. And I want my parents to buy a treadmill! It would be much more convenient to run with the TV on in my own living room than having to run around our schools stupid football field during cheerleading practice and just forgetting exercise during the off season lol.
Ok, its time Edyta won something. She is awesome, and has been on the show since the beggining, and hasn't won yet....so ya. She should win.

I watched Dancing Eith the Stars last season. it would be more interesting if I cared about celebrities and knew who anyone was. :P

Dancing with the **s... ive actually never watched it because i seriously don't watch tv, but still, im sure you'd be amazing!
im jewish, and purim (a jewish girl named esther saved all the jews from being killed in persia so now we celebrate it - that's the short story, if you want the long story look it up in the old testament, and maybe the new testament im not sure) is coming up thursday night/friday (jewish holidays are weird - they start the night before), and im TOTALLY going to be a gallagher girl...
anyway... we can definitely text faster... or at least type. And authors have better agents (both secret and non-). Plus, who writes ALL the newspapers, ALL the magazines, ALL the books, ALL the TV shows? writers. def.

i love that show. i'd love it even more if i was the one actually dancing. ballroom dancing sounds corny, but just wait till you try it. it's the most fun you'll ever have. But you should totally be on it. YA authors don't get enough attention!!!
Yeah Ally! You go girl start this thing...if writers were on there I would have started a one wo-man stampped to the tv everytime you were on there (and or any other write) and I have friends that text crazy! Honestly they dont even have to look they put it under the desk in study hall and type a paragraph in like 2 mins, one of my friends did her whole history report on there and emiled it to herself to print it was over 5 pages long! In less the 20mins!
*flashback - this isn't exact, i don't have the book with me, but it's what i remember*

of course... still, DWTS is PRETTY cool...

Miss Carter did you know that to lose weight you need to confuse your matabolism(I hope thats what it is called) which means eating MORE! YES MORE!!!!! You need to eat more than 3 meals a day, but make sure it is all healthy. For a couple of days, change your eating choices every week or so. You could do this weight loss thing over and over again without it not WORKING!. If you don't understand, your matoblism is in charge of how many calories you burn. They decide how many calories you burn by how much you ate by the things you ate before today. Do that and you could lose 9 lbs. in a week!

P.S. I got all of this information from a series of research from books, and by more research from people with failed attempts to lose weight. I made my dad do this a he lost 30 lbs. from all of that junk food gone(except in moderation) and CONFUSING HIS MATOBOLISM!!!
yeah, i so agree wth da txtn thing! i dnt write that much cuz i usaly lose focuse, but i LUV 2 read and i txt all the time!!! ( of course, it doesn't hurt that i have a full slide out keybord on my cell. ) it would be freakin awsome if u got on DWTS!! i've never really watched it or american idol so im pretty much out of the loop with every other person in the USA. lol! even my grandma watches american idol! but anywase, i would so watch it if u were on there! then i would acctually make a point of remembering when it comes on.

...and as for the weight watchers thing..i dont think fad diets are all that great. they're pretty much useless. and they could be harmful...sorry, i guess i've been learning a lot from my health class lately.

u go ally! yeah, we teens are the ones who enter the emergency room w/ sprained thumbs! speed texting, *shakes head ominously* but i would totally actually watch dancing with the YA authors! i wouldn't even get bored with my short attention span and leave to go read a book in the middle of the show, but i'm not much of a texter, more of a typer (im) myself, considering i write so much and all. u inspire me ally! freakin' awesome books. u r so my next fan fic.
