Gallagher Girl...t-shirts?
Okay, so after the last post several of you struck upon a secret, long-held fantasy of mine...
To have Gallagher Girl t-shirts!
I've even gone so far as to sketch some rough ideas before I remembered that I am perhaps the second least artistic person on the planet. (Number one is my sister.)
So I kind of gave up on it.
And for a while I thought about maybe having a contest where all of YOU could come up with potential T-Shirt designs...
But then I saw that Meg Cabot was already having a contest like that, and I didn't want to be unoriginal.
I was sort of making my peace that there may never be Gallagher Girl t-shirts until yesterday when so many of you expressed an interest in something like that.
So I'm putting it to you, guys. Would a contest or challenge or something design-related be something in which you'd be interested?

OMG!!!!!!! Ally, that would totally be AWESOME!!!!! I want a GG T-shirt and wouldn't mind having a contest to design the shirt. Please Ally, let's do the contest!!!
Designing contest... definitely! Oh and by the way I heard a song which I think TOTALLY needs to go on the gallagher Girl soundtrack. It's called One Girl Revolution by Superchick.... In my mind, that's what I think of when I think of Cammie.

do the contest! find out precisely what meg is doing so we can be super original. it could be made into an event held for each book. a different shirt for each story. or if you only wanna do one you should totally set it up. a lot of people would do it. and life's too short, so why not fufill your dream of gg t-shirts?

course...if worst came to worst you could always do what scott westerfeld did...he used some t-shirt design program to create a bunch of different things...?? i dunno you'd have to check his blog.

well, i can fully say that even though i did not participate in Meg's t-shirt contest, i can say that it isn't unoriginal... i mean, everyone does it, so, in conclusion, it isn't unoriginal. i just don't think i'm going to send a picture 'cuz i think your sister and i are competitors for the title of "world's LEAST artistic person" lol...

Well I think the whole design T-shirt thing would be a great thing to do. Maybe this could end up being it's own clothing line called:
Classified or Level 4 clearance depending on the Size or what age it would be for. Design isn't my forte either it's my sister's but people would love to try wouldn't they, talent or not.
I am also sure that children would love to make a messy art project of it XD.

*skims over all the comments* I think we're all in agreement that a contest should take place! :D I would totally enter, it'd be so much fun! And I think you should make one too (it doesn't have to be artistic, you could use a quote from the book or something, but I'm sure your artistic abilities are fine. :) Don't close the door before you've had a chance to try to go through it! ). but... but... Ally, Meg Cabot's t-shirt contest is already over. So I think you should do the contest. It doesn't matter if she already did it. It's not like she's the only author in the world that had thought of it, and it's not going to be your fault if you do the contest because we were the one who insisted it. A contest would be awesome! And I'm sure all of us have great ideas. My friends say I'm creative (or least a few of them do..) so I'd love to enter some submissions! Sweater vests like the one on the cover of the first book would be cool too (though rather expensive to make, I'm sure. >.<). Oh, and last but not least-- Christine Grace (two comments below me) mentioned adding One Girl Revolution to the soundtrack. It's a long time favorite of mine and I agree- It totally matches Cammie.
