T-shirt advice

Hey Gang,

I'm busy. Crazy busy. We're talking they-fired- the- basketball -coach -of -my -team-and-I -didn't-even -know-it busy.

So I'll make this brief.

For those of you doing the t-shirt contest, I think it would be a good idea to spend some time on cafepress.com and other places to see what looks good and duplicates well. (Doing a search for Twilight, for example, gives a great understanding of the types of things that the judges will be looking for.)

Hope that helps,
Ally

Hey Ally! I would just like to tell you that i ordered The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks and got it tuesday and its been hard to put down since! Its not like any book i've ever read before and it is very interesting in a good way. its also very funny like you said, and you have no idea how happy i was when i ready the word "grodie" because i always say that and my friends laugh at me haha. but now i know im not the only one!

thanks for the recommendation!

I got The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks, but I have to say, it was kind of hard for me to pay attention to it. The beginning was kind of confusing.

The contest sounds great! I can't wait to get started!

Great advice from a Great author who writes Great books for Great readers!
so now we're up to GG3! And a T-shirt contest, which is super cool and im so excited to see the results (but since im computer challenged - and art challenged - im not entering myself - i'd have to rely too much on help from friends and stuff that it wouldn't be fair...)... this is awesome, seriously. when i first read GG1, i was so psyched and couldn't wait for GG2, and then it took me FOREVER to notice that little "visit the author's website at allycarter.com" (yeah, i failed in surveilence skills in spy-school)...
still, GREAT books! (and i hope the workload eases up a little - too much pressure is never a good thing.)

Okay, fellow GGs, I talked to a computer graphics artist and the two recommended software programs for the t-shirts are . . . drumroll. . .

Adobe Illustrator
and. . .
the slightly less expensive Corel Draw. Good luck, I'm totally looking forward to this!
