In answer to some questions...

Lately, it seems like I've been getting a lot of emails from you guys all asking the same questions.
Let's take a second to answer some, shall we?
Question #1: Do you not know the title for GG3 and that's why you're not telling us? Or do you know and are just waiting?
Answer: Yes, I know. And yes, you have to wait. A little while. But I have to say that this title fits the book REALLY well and that makes me very happy.
Question #2: I was reading your book and I got to page (insert page here) and the part where (insert part here) happens. And I'm confused. What did (insert character's name here) mean by (insert line here).
Answer: This is a tough question for me to answer because a lot of the time it's a case where you need to read further and the answer will be revealed. Sometimes you just need to re-read. But the key is that I can't explain every little thing in the books. I'm sorry. It's out of my hands now and the relationship is between you and the book--what YOU think happens is what matters. (Oh, and if you didn't already know, a lot of the BIG QUESTIONS are answered in future books.)
Question #3: I want to be in the movie, but it says on your website you don't know anything about the movie. So what can you tell me about the movie?
Answer: Yes, I am still getting this question. And no, I'm afraid the answer hasn't changed. I wish I could tell you all exactly when/where/how to try out but as far as I know they're still months--or years--or centuries--from that.

haha, that made me laugh... some of those questions would be like asking, "I know that the school says they won't be issueing class schedules until August, but I was wondering if you could tell me what classes I'm going to be in anyway." I mean, isn't that the point of waiting until August (or until the title contest is over, or whatever)... I'm getting better at these metaphor things!
Anyway... can't wait until 6/9/09! less than 11 months!

I kind of like question two. I recently re-read (again) LYKY and I noticed something that I had never noticed before. I noticed about the dollhouse part where "spies play." If you really get into the book you can notice things you never have before, take it from someone who knows :].

one thing i noticed when re-reading LYKY, was that when talking to Josh, she just happened to pick "Solomon" as her last name
could this be some foreshadowing?
It would be pretty awesome if they hurried up to making that movie. Who can I write to? It's a great series, and it'd make a great movie. Why is it taking them so long? :)
On a recent reread of LYKY, I noticed that when Mr. Solomon is explaining to Cammie why he has been so hard on her, he says that he has to train her really well because "[he owes her] father that much."
Foreshadowing???
sorry, i obsess about stuff like that. My friend and i came up with this whole plot where josh has to be protected by the secret service, then something goes wrong and zach and cammie have to work together to save him... and somehow dillon was murdered i think...
ANYWAY... i just remembered that macey was a legacy, and that a while ago you gave us a hint that GG3 had something to do with the secret service... so maybe it's macey's dad? (he works for the government...) and then it pulls gallagher into it because she's a decent of gilly on her dad's side (otherwise they wouldn't know about the mchenry part...) so, yeah... my theory...

i feel bad that people keep asking you these questions over and over. It must be really annoying, but it just shows that people really love you and your books to be wanting information about them so much.
Aly that stinks that although you've answered these questions a million times maybe this one million and one-th time will clear it up. =]
I have re-read the books gajillions of time and noticed things I haven't noticed. My "friend" [really an ally] always says she can't read a book twice. I asked her why and she's just like. "Too boring, if you've read it once why read it again?" I was appalled[sp?] and now categorize her as NOT a "reader."
BTW, I lvoe *J*'s comment. I agree with that foreshadowing.

Can't wait for the title. Well, actually I can. =] That's one of the "whole" points of this blog.

Thanks for clarifying. My guess as to the cover of the 3rd book is either red or pink. Can't wait for title, plot, and actual book of GG3. I just finished reading the second GG book after re-reading the first one. I had been waiting for the 2nd book to read. Then after i finished it i was left with a cliffhanger. Brilliant! And now I just can't wait for the 3rd book.
:) can't wait till June 9,09...i will be waiting at the bookstore that day for my copy of the book. :)
