I feel like I should blog today...
I feel like I should blog today, but I'm having trouble being clever. Or interesting. Perhaps that's because I haven't exactly left the house in a while.
Maybe I'll go see THE SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELING PANTS 2 tomorrow.
But HEIST isn't going to finish itself, people! It simply WILL NOT.
I've tried staring at the keyboard and thinking TYPE, TYPE, TYPE really intently, but that didn't work.
And then I tried sleeping with my Alphasmart under my pillow. Nothing.
And then I tried going into a trance-like state...
But I just ended up falling asleep. Again.
Sigh.
Maybe I should just be like James Patterson and hire someone else to write my books FOR me!

So there you have it, people. I'm now taking applications for people to write my books for me. Oh, yes. This is definitely going to be easier. Just imagine how many movies I could see then?!!?!?

you are the only person that truly knows these characters inside and out, thier flaws, dreams, motivations, etc. you will write an amazing story and i for one cant wait for it to come out

hey ally your doing a wonderful job, and look your more than half-way done ,i have tried to sit down and write a book but i never can make it past about four pages. i don't know how you do it.
But look how far you've come already!
Take a break. Go for a walk and then come back to it. :-)

I don't think it would help if you have someone write YOUR books for you, no one can make them better than you. But if you do want to go see a movie... The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants 2 if a very good movie. I saw it yesterday.
If ur stuck try to LIVE in ur book. I know it sounds weried but it helps me.....

Go watch the movie, and let your backbrain work on Heist while you catch up on other things. You're gonna be just fine.
If you dictate, I'd write, and I know several other people would too, but if someone else wrote it for you, it wouldn't be YOUR book anymore. You know the characters, where the plot is going, all the details that you have planned out in your mind, and no one else could really write it for you. LYKY and Cross My Heart were amazing, and you can pull this off too.

The Sisterhood was a good movie! The books were better though. As usual. And by the way Ally, I would totally write your books for you but then you wouldn't sell as many and people might start burning the books I wrote. Which would hurt my feelings and you might have to go back to work :))

Glad Heist or "Otherwise Classified" as I've come to call it is at least at 74% done. So far my James Bond/Gallagher Girl type novel is at about 200 words. =]
And "Pinkies First" is still an outline. But if you heard my outline the title is like perfect.
Your an amazing writer Ally! I kno you'll get it soon! Look at how much progress youve made! Its amazing. Cant wait for the book. =)

omg!!! i LOVE the gallagher girls series!!!! and i just read that you were gonna write a third book! i am so glad. i just wanted to say that the idea of a shool for spies in a book is great. if you could, i would be really happy if you would reply to my e-mail.

Aly, you are an amazing writer, do NOT give up and give it off to someone else(even though I'd be more than happy to help you). But if you gave it to soemone else, it wouldn't be YOUR book anymore, YOUR idea, YOUR-well, I think you get the idea!:) But maybe thats all you need to do. Go see some movies! Enjoy yourself! But bring a notebook with you and when you get an idea, you can write it down!

dont worry about it. you can finish the book in no time if you take a break once in a while to relax your mind. and please please finish the third gallagher girls book. im anxious to read it. i love the 2nd book and i cant stop rereading it. i love it! idk why but its really good.
I feel your pain, I'm trying to write a book too but can't get past the first chapter. Even though I wrote another five already.
You dont need anyone to write your books for you you do GREAT at them in the first place so why stop.
Also no one will have the same ideas as you and the book wont be as good.
I just saw the sister hood of the traveling pants 2 and it is long, but really good.
I saw the sisterhood 2 yesterday and i thought it was really good; but they crammed all 3 books into one movie so a lot is left out.
normally i hate reading but i read all of your books in 2 days and after id finish one i went to the book store and bout the other i love your ideas.... your books provoke all lot of emotion for a young reader like myself......i was wondering if it would they were being made in to a movie i know it would be an amazing movie as for your current status on your book i can't saying i'm going to help but i do know what i would like to happen... after reading your books i have realized that you are a very consitant author so if someone helps it would through off the flow of your book........plz work on the book whenever you can but don't rush it or be sloppy not that i think you would but your blog has led me to bielve that you have come to eather be laze or are having writers block or are just desperate to finish it eather way i know you will come through and the book will be even better than the rest

writers block gets everyone from time to time

after i read ur books i just ket rereading them and i kept guessin wt happened so i was inspired to attempt to write it my self to hold my self up until june 9th so i rote this im an amature author and im quite young but this is my version of ur writing this is but one chpt of many cant wait 4 the new book
by atempting to write this book as an amatour author i have truly come to appreciate ur work even more. it wasn't untill now tht i realized wt the hardest part of writting is, spacing out drama it truely is a skill u have aquired from experience i cant wait 2 read ur version a n aspiroing author and fan sophie
