Mini blog: randomness

My throat is starting to hurt again.

The state fair is starting soon which means I can't stop craving corndogs.

I have the sudden urge to re-read PRIDE AND PREJUDICE.

My sister was right and buying a second Tivo for the TV by the treadmill is perhaps the greatest exercise incentive EVER.

Did I mention my throat hurts?

Ally I've just gotten back from a YA writers conference and someone there gave me the flu, so I'm right there with you. Hot water with lemon and honey is the best, followed up by gargling salt water. I kid you not, this works better than all those throat lozenges I used to take.

Wow! Your state fair is LATE!

Give in to the urge. re-read Pride and Predjudice. I get a little thrill every time I read the first paragraph.

And it's a perfect book for fall days and mugs of warm cider and curling up under a blanket on the back porch.

Ack. Now I'm seeing the Austenesque influences in the GG books....

=)

My throat hurts too, Ally.

Drink fizzy drinks, it helps. So does Advil Cold. A lot. And those little throat losengens that are really candy. That helps.

And our town fair is tonight. I am excited. Funnel cakes. I love funnel cakes. Though I haven't had one since the first grade. Which stinks. But still, I love funnel cakes.

Keep being random Ally, its good for you!!!

Awww, sorry about your throat Ally. I know how you feel, I used to get strep about two or three times a year, for, like two years. When I got it ten times and then I got my tonsils taken out. I was in first grade and I almost had to miss my first school musical. OMG! In my school, I have a friend whose name is Aly, and she has mono. I hope you don't have mono because she's super tired and she came back one day and could only do half a day. TRY TO GET THE FLAMING TENNIS BALL OUT OF YOUR THROAT ALLY! And, get well soon!
