VOTE

Tomorrow is election day. How is it possible that I can feel both like this day has taken FOREVER to get here an also that the day shouldn't be here yet?

Sigh.

Anyway, I hope everyone will vote. I hope those of you who can't vote will remind everyone around you who can that it's worth waiting in line and being patient to have a voice in how the next four years shape up.

I'm also very, very grateful that I did the absentee ballot thing and will therefore not have to stand in line myself.

Now back to the rewrites! (On the new book Kat, or Heist, by the way--not GG3)

Okay people, this was a project for my history class. We had to tell at least one person this phrase "Vote: pass it on" and direct them to do the same...

So, being the overacheiving Gallagher girls that we are... I'm telling all of you!!!

So... VOTE: Pass it on.

And yes, yay, no more campaign ads!

I'm kinda tired of all the kids in my class arguing over the candidates.
Recently when asked who I support I say "I support whoever doesn't get me hit."
Not that someone would hit me but I don't want to hear their top 25 reasons why so-so is better than so-and-so if i dont agree with them.

Hey Ally,

I kno! It feels like it's been forever! I took people that I'm going to be happy when the election is over because im tired of the TV ads and the debates at school. Sigh. We had to vote in school and write a paper on who we'd vote for. Sigh.
Have lots O fun with re-writes.

Voting is important. But I don't think anyone should unless they know what they are voting on. I can't tell you how many people have said in the past couple of days that they didn't know who some of the people on the ballot were so they just picked one. Or they didn't know anything about anything on there other than Obama or McCain and even then their reasoning for their vote on that didn't seem like they did their homework. Voting is important, know everything that you can before you do.

OMG ALLY CARTER I LOVE YOUR BOOKS. Yeah i am 12 years old, but what the heck i am so much like you (except the part about being a democrat and growing up in Oklahoma; for me its city in Michigan). I cannot wait till your next book comes out and when your book WILL turn into a movie I would love to try out, just as long as its not a musical. FYI my little brother is singing randomly at any moment from all the musical shows. I really cannot wait. My teachers say that i also use the exact same writing technique as you. When i was reading your books i fell in love with Josh now i want to MARRY Zach. Seriously when i was reading your book, i was so excited. The only thing i didnt like was that you went a little too far with the total ball thing in CROSS MY HEART AND HOPE TO SPY. Sadly because of that i couldnt have my teacher make us read it as a project book. YOU ARE AWSOME BY!!!!
