Book Club!
Back by popular demand, I'm thrilled to announce the second installment of the Ally Chat Book Club!
That's right, you guys were so awesome when Alan Gratz popped by to discuss SOMETHING ROTTEN that we're going to do it again.
And the chosen book is....

(from Sarah M.'s website)
What if all your wishes could come true? Blink your eyes, drink a fizzing pink potion, and poof! Life is perfect. That’s Rachel’s situation. Except she’s not the one who suddenly has magical powers. Her younger sister is. And as Rachel would tell you, spellbooks are wasted on the young!
Yes, yes, of course world peace and cures for horrible diseases are important. But so is dancing without looking like she’s being electrocuted, winning back her best friend, stopping her dad’s wedding, and finding a date for Spring Fling.
Rachel’s not bewitched. Yet. . . .
To read all about BRAS AND BROOMSTICKS, simply go here.
You may also want to check out Sarah's great how-to book for writers, SEE JANE WRITE.
She's also the co-author of HOW TO BE BAD, and the author of several very successful books for older readers.
Please check out Sarah's website and give Bras and Broomsticks a good read (or re-read) and plan on joining us the in official Ally Chat chatroom (link will be added later) on Sunday, February 15th at 5:00 Eastern (4:00 central, etc.) time. The chat will last approximately one hour.
The password will be BROOMSTICKS.
The room will open (and the password will work) approximately 15 minutes prior to the start of the chat.
I hope everyone is excited to chat with Sarah Mlynowski as I am to have her visiting us.
Happy reading!
Ally
ps...just so you know, there are now four books in the Magic in Manhattan series. We're starting with Book 1, Bras and Broomsticks. Book 4, Parties and Potions was just released!

Yay! I was wondering when the next chat would be and what book we'd be discussing. You have excellent timing for posting this (I'm going to the library today). I'll have to look for Bras and Broomsticks while I'm there. Hope I find it. :)
YES!!! I love the Magic in Manhattan series. Luckly I found my copy cleaning out my room. Can't wait till the next book club meeting.
I am so psyched, since I love the Magic in Manhattan Series, but I think I will re-read Bras and Broomsticks.
I love Sarah's books for adults, and See Jane Write is one of my go-to books. But I've never read any of her YA stuff!
I'm so excited. I haven't heard of the series before, so I'll have look around Barnes & Noble for the next time I'm there. :)
I missed the last book chat because I was on vacation and didn't have internet access, but hopefully I can participate in this one! I love the Magic in Manhattan series and just put the new one on hold at the library. Yay!
I've actually read that one so that makes it easy :) I already have the longest reading list. I'm just getting into Angel and Demons and that's a thick enough book to keep me busy for the next couples of weeks since I have school. TGIF!
YAY!!! I actually HAVE that book! And I just finished reading See Jane Write, and it helps A LOT. So, if you wanna be a writer, GO TO YOUR LIBRARY!
Yes, I know I'm hyper.
I had too much coffee today.
Mesa sorreh.
I love the series!! Good choice Ally! I really need to re-read the series. I can't remember what happened in which book.
Cool! I went to her site & the book looks interesting. Hopefully I won't miss this chat. I missed ALL of the other ones. I will have to look around for it...;)
ahhhhhhhhh, I just checked my local library system and...they don't have Bras & Broomsticks!!! Guess I'll just have to see if any of my friends have a copy. I look forward to the book club meeting =P
I'm reading Parties and potions now!!!!
I've seen that book before, but I don't know anyone who's read it! I'll have to borrow it from the library. Thanks for the pick, I can't wait to read it!
Hey Ally,
What is the content like on this one?
