Let the Heist Society Countdown begin!
Hey, everybody!
Wow, first I should thank you all for your amazing responses to yesterday's quiz. Several of you have asked why I was asking, and the answer is simply that I was curious. I think what shows a person loves says a lot about them and I was wondering what it would say about my fan base in general--is there a lot of overlap? Do you favor teen shows over adult shows? Sitcoms to dramas? Mysteries versus serials? You know...the usual.
So thank you! Your answers were very interesting and helpful!
Also, I want to let everyone know that I'm really close to having a winner in the t-shirt design competition. I should be notifying the winner and posting the winning design here within the next week or so.
And speaking of competitions...
Do you guys feel up to another one?
I realized this week that Heist Society will be in stores sooner than we think, and what better way to track that than with a Heist Society countdown widget like we had for GG3?!?
So here's the deal.
1. To enter just design a countdown widget (like the ones for GG4)--how and where you do that is totally up to you.
2. You will need to email the code to allycartercontest (at sign) gmail.com on or before Sunday, November 22nd.
3. Put Heist Society Countdown in the subject line of the email, please.
4. The winner will receive a $50 gift card to the bookstore of his or her choice!
So there you go, gang. Ready. Set. Design!

I don't know how to make a widget...
Hi Ms. Carter, I know you don't respond to individual comments, but I had a question and I thought I'd ask it so it could maybe end up in FAQ (the way "Why are you asking about the TV shows?" did).
Anyways...are we allowed to use a website for making widgets--e.g. something along the lines of this: http://www.layoutcodez.net/countdown/generator/
or do we have to do the HTML ourselves?

how awesome! sorry, totally off topic but... I was looking through some of your old posts and noticed that you said you had some LYKY deleted scenes that we could find by searching for it in the white search bar. I then scrolled up and discovered that there is no white search bar. Sooo. How do I find the deleted scenes?

The songs are a little old school but I still like them. my favs were #5 and 6. I hope you pic me idea for how to make us solve the title for gg4! (in case you forgot my idea was to show a pic with hidden lettes so we have to put them in order or put the words of th etilte in the pic)

I just found the deleted parts of gg3 and they were AMAZING!!! I LOVE THEM! YOU SHOULD MAKE A BOOK OF ALL OF YOUR DELETED PARTS SO EVERY OEN CAN SEE WHAT ALMOST WAS IN GG3!!

so ally i know your stiil writing and you have know idea when you'll be done but i was just wondering since you have done like 5 books before. what the approximate time it take to have the book hit stores once you have fully finished writing it and stuff. like the publishing. how long does thta take. the publishing not the writing. just to be clear. :)

hey ally u know how you said you don't like fantasy much? my bib sis is the same, studying phycology and all, but she tried Harry Potter and absolutely positively LOVED it (and we're talking 20 years old here) so it isnt much of a surprise that your enjoying your book!
